tVS Sketch #15 - “Hey guys we’re playing 9:30!”

Here’s a glimpse - bear with us, we all have day jobs. More 9:30 content to come!!!

the Very Small at 9:30 Club! Hopefully this can tide you over until we can sort through all the footage/photos and edit everything.

This video was shot by our good friend Katie O’Brien - it’s our last song of the set, Ánimo! We had our friends René and Leigh come on stage to help us out.

The 9:30 Club!

Been painfully out of touch these past two weeks as we prepped for our show tonight. This is huge for us, cheesily a dream come true. The friggin’ 9:30 club!

We’ve been working on a bunch of new material - we were hoping to have a batch o’ new songs ready for tonight, but didn’t want to rush things so we’re holding off. Still, we’ll be playing 2 new songs, and getting nice recordings of it all - So stay tuned for new versions of old songs and some newbies!

In other updates:
Tonight at practice we spent time trying to remember exactly which songs were played in Mos Eisley Cantina vs. on Jabba’s sail barge. We’ve decided to dress as the aliens and cover all of them.

Also, at practice last night the carpet decided to fall off the wall and onto Aaron. Definitely time to clean / update the band room.

tVS Sketch #14 - Hero Music!

I can’t say much about this top secret project except two things: My coworker and I are building a video game, and that video game needs music. Robin got particularly excited and created this, his vision for the title screen.

It’s dripping with 8-bit influenced gloriousness. Enjoy!!

tVS Sketch #13 - Backstage Interview @ Jammin Java

Pink Jams put on a Breast Cancer Benefit Show at Jammin Java. We had the honor of being interviewed backstage by Christa Floresca, Pink Jams founder, and Jem Bahaijoub, founder or ImaginePR! Will and Aaron go into what it means to be part of a benefit show, and shed light on where the Very Small is headed … sonically! Momentary Prophets performs.
